Innovative System Design Balancing Performance and Cost

By understanding the needs of the end user, along with the constraints of the application and the processes required to manufacture and assemble the system, we are often able to design-in performance without adding cost.

In addition to designing bespoke components and systems, we have vast experience of working with engineering and design teams to integrate standard products into existing systems with minimal changes, allowing time and cost to be saved across the project without compromising performance or manufacturability.

  • Early collaboration with customers’ design teams enhances product feasibility, compresses development time, and reduces costs.
  • This engagement allows practical design, reduces changes, and streamlines production.
  • We can provide insights into trends, materials, connectivity, manufacturability and cost efficiency, while designers ensure the DNA, aesthetics and functionality are aligned.
  • We also work to understand customers’ purchasing, inventory and production processes, to ensure parts are designed for assembly and focus on the installed, end-of-line cost, not simply the purchase price.
  • This approach leads to innovative, high-quality products, reduced project delays, and cost reduction, ultimately benefiting all stakeholders.
  • Working across platforms, we often use existing validated component products and processes, further reducing cost, time and complexity.

Research & Development

Striving for Excellence Through Research and Development

EuroTec strive for excellence in all products. Research and Development is key to this approach. With control over every aspect of design held at the UK based headquarters continual development and research into new products is assured.

The loudspeaker is critical to the audio chain. It is also one of the most demanding parts with respect to design. EuroTec use cutting edge technology such as Finite Element Analysis to predict and control non-linearities in designs.

Solid objective design is important but EuroTec also take into account the subjective effects. Knowing how a loudspeaker will interact with the surrounding environment is essential to the performance of a system. Measuring in-situ is important but subjective analysis is also crucial. EuroTec undertake these tasks backed with the experience of integrating speakers into some of the most challenging situations.

EuroTec know the importance of understanding the target market region. This is instilled into the design from conception, and products can be tailored to a specific market.

Manufacturing

Cost-Effective Manufacturing with a Focus on Quality and Flexibility

A lower cost manufacturing base ensures our products are competitive within the global marketplace:

  • Our policy of good staff conditions leads to high retention levels, reduced re-training and consistent product quality.
  • In house Die casting facilities, moulding and PCB population ensures quality is maintained.
  • Reduced reliance on component suppliers reduces lead time and cost which allows greater flexibility.
  • All products are manufactured and assembled within a IATF 16949 environment.
  • Bar code traceability and Go/NoGo tests to 100% production ensure zero defect.
